Oral Cancer Screenings

white spots - services

The goal of cancer screenings is to catch and identify mouth cancer early when there is a greater chance for a cure. If we can detect mouth cancer or precancerous lesions at an early stage, it is not only easier for us to remove, but also gives you a better chance at being cured.

Based on certain risk factors such as tobacco use, heavy drinking, previous oral cancer diagnosis, and a history of significant sun exposure, it may be a good idea to receive an oral cancer screening. If you’re concerned about your cancer risk, talk to the doctor, and he’ll discuss ways to reduce your risk and which screening tests might be right for you.
